Meet the awesome team behind Democratic Charkha.

 

Amir Abbas

Amir Abbas is the CEO and Founder of Democratic Charkha. He started his journalism career with Video Volunteers in 2015. Then he worked with Youth Ki Awaaz (Hindi) and freelanced with many other international TV channels like France 24. He studied Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Patna University.

Khalid Jamshed

 

Khalid Jamshed is the Head of Finance and Marketing and also Founder of Democratic Charkha. He studied Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Patna University.

 

Waheed Azam

Waheed Azam is the Head of Operations and Founder of Democratic Charkha. He studied his undergraduate degree from Patna University. He works with all the reporters and package text stories and video stories for Democratic Charkha.

 

Anupriya Singh

Anupriya is Senior Video Reporter and Board of Directors of Democratic Charkha. She is the first hindi media transgender anchor. She was previously associated with different NGO’s working around the empowering of LGBTQ+ communities in Bihar.

Pallavi Kumari

Pallavi works as a content reporter in Democratic Charkha. She completed her Mass Communication from NOU, Patna. She completed his training from Darsh digital Pvt Ltd., Patna. Then she worked in Darsh digital and The Full volume as content writer.

 

Nazish Mahtab

Nazish Mahtab currently works as a Reporter in Democratic Charkha. He started his career in reporting with Democratic Charkha. Right now he is pursuing Bachelor’s in Mass Communication from Patna College. He had a lot of experience in reporting. He worked in ATN Live India, The Azadi and Inside Press as Reporter.

 

Swati Sah

 

Swati Sah is the video editor of Democratic Charkha. She was previously associated with Gender Alliance. She studied Bachelor’s of Journalism and Mass Communication from Patna Women’s College.

 

Kunal Kumar Sandilya

Currently, Kunal works as a content writer in Democratic Charkha. He is pursuing his mass communication from Patna college, Patna. Kunal has a lot of experience in Hindi Print media Journalism. He completed his training from Dainik Bhaskar, Patna.

Riya Gupta

Currently, Riya Gupta works as Video editor at Democratic Charkha.
She did her Mass Communication, from Women’s College, Patna. After completing her graduation she joined Live Bihar, as a trainee, at Patna. Then she worked at Jagriti Times as photographer.

Subrita Nidhi

 

Subrita Nidhi is developing and implementing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. And always up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, and incorporating these into the company’s strategy. such as good knowledge of social media, email marketing, blogs, and websites., Google ads, Graphics Design and wordpress.

Saumya Sinha

Saumya has completed her Master’s in Mass communication and journalism from Patna University. As a fresher she always try to learn different things and help the organization in growing. Currently she works with video production team.
